VVINKPIT (VVulan's INKPIT) is the creative crater of German-Indonesian artist Wulan M. Through whimsical depictions of dark subject matter, their art embraces morbidity with a light heart, hoping to demystify that which unsettles us.They are inspired by their lunar namesake, retro horror media, Sundanese mythology, and the many grim folktales read humorously to children in Germany.Their current primary project, MOONDOLL, centers a series of lunar spirits born from sleepless wishes. A MOONDOLL is a lunar spirit born from the uncertainties that arise at night. Incubated in lunar craters, it is made of a moonrock shell. Its outer appearance depends on the phase of the moon and the wish that summoned it. A MOONDOLL's purpose is to navigate lost souls through dark nights, by lighting up the path before them.Whether your nights are filled with anxiety, melancholy, or bouts of manic inspiration, a MOONDOLL is ready to guide you til dawn!
